RA 9160 – Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2001

Requirements for Identification

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) issued Circular 608 dated May 20, 2008 relaxing the customer identification requirement on the acceptance of valid identification cards for all types o ffinancial transactions by banks and banks financial institutions under BSP supervision are hereby amended as follows:

b ) Clients who engage in a financial transaction with covered institutions for the first time shall be required to present the original and submit a CLEAR copy of at least ONE (1) valid photo-bearing identification document issued by an official authority:

  • Passport
  • Driver’s License
  • Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) ID
  • National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance
  • Police Clearance
  • Postal ID
  • Voter’s ID
  • Barangay Certification
  • Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) e-Card
  • Social Security System (SSS) Card
  • Senior Citizen Card
  • Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) ID
  • OFW ID
  • Seaman’s Book
  • Alien Certification of Registration/Immigrant Certificate of Registration
  • Government Office and GOCC ID, e.g. Armed forces of the Philippines (AFP ID)
  • Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF ID)
  • Certification from the National Council for the Welfare of Disabled Persons (NCWDP)
  • Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Certification
  • INTEGRATED BAR OF THE PHILIPPINES ID
  • COMPANY IDs ISSUED BY PRIVATE ENTITIES OR INSTITUTIONS REGISTERED WITH OR SUPERVISED OR REGULATED EITHER BY THE BSP, SEC OR IC

SUBMIT A CLEAR COPY OF ONE (1) VALID photo-bearing school ID duly signed by the principal or head of the school.

c ) Banks and non-bank financial institutions under BSP supervision shall require their clients to submit clear copy of the ONE (1) valid ID on a one-time basis only, or at the commencement of a business relationship. They shall require their clients to submit an updated photo and other relevant information whenever the need for it arises.

MONEY REMITTANCES

Clients can also claim international money remittance through accredited international partners including GCASH REMITTANCE INTERNATIONAL Transfast, XpressMoney, , and many more. All transactions are real-time, which enables clients to claim the money as soon as the sender completes the sending process in the branch.

DOMESTIC

Villarica Cash Padala is a secure, safe and special way to send and receive money anywhere within the Philippines.

  1. Visit any Villarica Pawnshop branch.
  2. Fill out the Villarica Cash Padala form.
  3. Present the accomplished form, valid ID to the branch personnel.
  4. Give the total amount to be paid.

Safekeep the Cash Padala form (and count the change received, if there is any)

Provide the 15-digit control number to the receiver/beneficiary

IDs ACCEPTED
(VCP and International)

As required by BSP, Clients who engage in a financial transaction with covered institutions for the first time shall be required to present the original and submit a clear copy of at least ONE (1) valid photo-bearing identification document issued by an official authority. For our clients’ convenience, Villarica Pawnshop no longer requires submission of the photocopied ID. IDs are captured using a webcam in all branches. Clients are also required to submit an updated photo and other relevant information whenever the need for it arises.

  1. Only outstanding transactions can be amended, refunded or cancelled.
  2. The Sender may amend at Villarica Pawnshop Inc./ Villarica Cash Padala branch.(where transaction made) The client’s copy of Villarica Cash Padala form must be presented.
  3. Refund shall be processed where transaction was made. Principal amount shall be returned to the sender less the service charge.IDs ACCEPTED (VCP & International)
